volunteering

if I volunteered for a hours a week, I would hope that I could work for people that can't do the work them self, just doing their yard work if they can't, or other jobs like that. this actually helps people a lot. and it helps to bring the community together.

fashion

so I don't know if this counts as a fashion, but I love steampunk. I like how the techie stuff is part of it, and it actually has a purpose a lot of the time, and I like how there is a kind of color theme to it that you can tweak for you're own style.

future...

I do not have any real plans for my future yet, so in 10 years, I might still be working on a degree in STEM. I might already have a STEM job, most likely in robotics. I might be dating or have married someone... I think I would like to have a relationship like that around then. I can't see myself having kids but I might. I'll probably have cats and they shall be my children. I actually sew a lot, so I hope that I keep that as a hobby, and possible make a career out of it but that is very unlikely.

name game! ... does that mean something already?

Rosemary is my first name. my parents chose this name because my dad's parents had a daughter named Rosemary but she died soon after birth. or Rosemary could have been my gramma's sister that died shortly after birth. all I can think of for story's about my name is that 2 teachers that don't talk much it seems have taken to calling me Rosie, and that when ever I meet someone new they say "a rose by any other name would smell as sweet".
my last name is Sartor, which I believe means tailor in German. The only way I would change my name would be to change Rosemary to Rose, because Rose is shorter and more modern.

why a restaurant?

if I had a restaurant it would be called "and a dash of rosemary". the restaurant would be light shades of dark colors, and would have a nature/county feeling. I have no idea who would work there, but I would hope to have a small staff that is very polite. the restaurant would probably serve a lot of poultry and lighter foods. and maybe have a nice bakery.

first day of Young Women in Computing

First full day of YWiC people! we played a game at the beginning of the day, I have no idea what the game is called... but it was fun :) we made a circle Linday would say a statement like "I have broken a bone" and everyone that had broken a bone would step into the circle. then the first half of the day we spent learning about core concepts of programing. after lunch we played jeopardy... that was not my worst trip over. learning about app inventor was fun, though I am a bit nervous about making my own app...
